Dunelm to open Kidderminster shop with 45 jobs

Home furnishing giant Dunelm will open a new store in Kidderminster on Thursday creating 45 jobs. It has revamped and extended the former Morrisons store to become one of the town's largest retailers.

Home furnishing giant Dunelm will open a new store in Kidderminster on Thursday creating 45 jobs. It has revamped and extended the former Morrisons store to become one of the town's largest retailers.

The new shop in Oxford Street measures 26,000sq ft and will trial features new to Dunelm outlets.

These include a section selling bedroom furniture and a craft area devoted to hobbies.

Chief Executive, Nick Wharton said: "We are always excited about the opening of a new store.

"It takes a lot of hard work, investment and commitment getting a new store up and running but the opening of those doors for the first time is a pinnacle moment for all involved.

"We are confident Kidderminster will play a big part in the continued success of the company."
