A taxi driver and his teenage passenger were taken to hospital after a crash in treacherous conditions in the Black Country.

A taxi driver and his teenage passenger were taken to hospital after a crash in treacherous conditions in the Black Country.
It happened at around 11.09pm in Church Lane, West Bromwich last night.
West Bromwich fire station crew commander Stephen Pougher said: "The taxi driver was trapped and complaining of neck and back pain. We got him out and there was also a 15-year-old lad who was a passenger in the taxi."
They were taken to hospital for checks.
