Man held over stolen property

Police have arrested a second person in connection with stolen property seized during a raid on a house in Halesowen.

Officers are questioning the man following the raid in Spiral Close when items identified as those taken during burglaries in the area were discovered.

A woman, aged 17, who was arrested on Thursday has been bailed.

Around half a dozen officers smashed the front door of the house in a 7.30am swoop.

While searching the property officers recovered personal items belonging to the victims of burglaries.

Acting inspector Clive Steedman, from Halesowen police, said the raid was carried out following a tip off from the public.

He said: "This shows we do act on intelligence from the public and this is an example of the public and police working together."
