Hospital celebrates mini makeover
Health bosses and fundraisers gathered to celebrate the official opening of a relatives' room at Stafford Hospital following a £7,500 transformation.

Stafford Hospital's Critical Care Unit's (CCU) relatives' room received the face-lift thanks to the Stafford League of Hospital Friends.
The room has now been officially unveiled by the League's chairman, Colin Wilkinson and Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust chairman, David Stone.
A number of other Stafford League of Hospital Friends members, alongside CCU staff, also attended the opening. Mr Wilkinson said the money was raised entirely through the league-run coffee bar at the Weston Road site.
"The reason we chose the CCU for this donation was because I was in there for a fortnight two years ago," he said.
"When my wife was visiting, she spent time in the relatives' room and one of the things we realised was that it was in need of refurbishing so we decided to help."
The room is a place where relatives of patients can spend some quiet time and privacy off the ward.
CCU Matron Debbie Fox was thrilled with the revamp and said it was already proving popular among visitors.
"We have had a lot of extremely positive feedback from relatives who have said the room is comfortable and clean," she said.
Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust chairman, David Stone, said: "We are delighted to accept this donation from the group, who have been very generous over the years with their fundraising for the hospital."
The Stafford League of Hospital Friends celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.
