Cheggers will be chatting with the crowds at West Bromwich's Dartmouth Park on April 18.
A medieval living encampment will feature St George on horseback, a crusader boat, skills at arms demonstrations and a medieval foot soldier tournament.
There will also be jousting with mounted knights, cooking demonstrations and bread making as well as the chance to have a go at archery.
Sandwell Council leader Councillor Bill Thomas said: "We are absolutely delighted that Keith Chegwin has agreed to support the St George's Day celebrations in the park."
The Stone Cross St George's Day parade will take place on April 19 and will end in Dartmouth Park.
