Two killed on roads
A Kidderminster newsagent and an elderly woman have been killed in separate car accidents on the rain-soaked roads of the West Midlands.

Amith Singh Dhaliwal, aged 23, of Coniston Road, Wolverhampton, died when his Ford Fiesta was involved in an accident on the A449 Kidderminster to Wolverhampton road.
Mr Dhaliwal, a newsagent in Kidderminster, was pronounced dead at the scene near the Cookley Arms at Caunsall just before noon on Saturday.
A police spokeswoman said although the road was not flooded, the area was very wet, and officers would be looking into whether or not that was a contributing factor.
Pc Andy Saunders from the North Worcestershire Road Policing Unit, said: "As part of the investigation we are appealing to anyone who travelled along the Wolverhampton Road at the time of the collision to get in touch."
About five hours later, a woman in her 70s was killed in a head on collision between a Volkswagen Passat and Mercedes Sprinter van on Birmingham Road, Walsall.
The woman was taken to Walsall Manor Hospital where she died from her injuries.
A man driving the car, aged in his 70s, was also taken to hospital along with three children.
