Where else would you find a 65-year-old man attempting to make music with a plastic leg?

Welcome to the anarchic world of the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.

The 60s group, whose blend of music and surrealist comedy inspired the likes of Monty Python, have reunited for a 40th anniversary tour.

The eight-piece have been joined on the road by Adrian Edmondson and Phill Jupitus, replacing two original members who have sadly passed away.

The pair threw themselves into the madcap show, with Jupitus donning an Elvis costume for the finale and Edmondson proving a dab hand on the trumpet.

The scattergun humour, with props flying on and off the stage from all angles, demanded full attention.

The majority of the crowd, hardcore Bonzos fans from the 60s, lapped it up.

The loudest cheers of the night were reserved for the band's biggest hits, Urban Spaceman and Monster Mash - accompanied by the musical leg.
