XPeng expands UK model line-up with L03 coupe SUV
The L03 will be the third XPeng model to arrive in the UK and will sit below the G6 SUV and X9 minivan.
The Chinese EV manufacturer XPeng has announced that its third model to arrive in the UK will be the L03 coupe-style SUV.
XPeng is a Chinese technology company that was founded in 2014, and last year, it brought its first car to the UK: the G6 electric SUV.
The L03 will sit below the G6 in the firm’s model line-up and features lots of sporty design details with boomerang-style front headlights and pronounced front wings. There’s a sloping roofline with a kick-up tailgate; while flush door handles, frameless windows and thin door mirrors help make it one of the most drag coefficient cars in its class.
Inside, the cabin receives a 15.6-inch central infotainment system with a head-up display, while ambient lighting comes as standard alongside 37 storage spaces.
Details of the car’s powertrain have not been revealed at this stage, although XPeng has said there will be an EV variant as well as an ‘L03 Power X’ range-extender model.
Furthermore, to help with everyday usability, the L03 will also have a towing capacity of up to 1,500kg.
Prices and specifications for the XPeng L03 will be announced in due course with UK deliveries expected to commence next year.
