Peugeot introduces sweeping price cuts across entire range

Savings of nearly £10,000 are being applied.
Peugeot has announced a series of wide-ranging price cuts for its cars which could see the cost of some models reduced by nearly £10,000.
With its range now larger than ever, Peugeot has adjusted pricing for many of its key models to help make them more affordable. The e-3008, for instance, now starts from £36,995, a significant saving on its previous £46,060 starting price. This reduction also means that the e-3008 now qualifies for the Electric Car Grant, bringing its price down by a further £1,500 to £35,495.

Nicola Dobson, managing director, Peugeot UK, said: “These changes strengthen Peugeot’s position in the mainstream market by making our range more accessible than ever to both retail and fleet customers.
“We’re broadening our appeal while continuing to offer the sophisticated design, high-quality interiors, engaging driving experience and innovative technology for which we are known. The revised pricing supports our retail growth and enhances our competitiveness for company car drivers and fleet operators alike.”
Because of the changes, many of Peugeot’s models which previously did not qualify for the Electric Car Grant can now benefit from the additional savings, which is applied to cars costing under £40,000 for combustion-engined cars and £50,000 for electric vehicles.
Savings of between £2,000 and £3,500 can now be found on 208, 2008, 3008 and 5008 models, while even electric models such as the e-208 and e-2008 are now on sale with significant reductions.
