First look at Birmingham Selfridges’ huge new beauty hall - the biggest outside London with exclusive brands and products
We were among the first customers at the newly unveiled Selfridges beauty hall in Birmingham and couldn’t believe all the exciting products on offer
If you’re looking for an extra special treat for Christmas - and a wonderful place to do some shopping for loved ones - then there’s no better place than Selfridges beauty hall in Birmingham.
It’s always been a fantastic spot for the latest trends in beauty - both luxury and affordable - and now it’s got even bigger.
In fact the Bullring destination is now the UK’s biggest beauty hall outside London, it’s a big boast with lots to live up to - and you’ll be pleased to hear that Selfridges does just that.
You can see a tour around the newly refurbished space in our video above - we captured as many highlights as we could.
It’s the first time the beauty hall has had a makeover since 2014 and the brand offer is quite different to then.
Victoria Beckham is now proudly placed among the luxury counters with her fantastic range of cosmetics.
The lipsticks are among the creamiest, most wearable you could wish for - there are some great colours too.
Her foundation is created with skin expert Augustinuis Bader - it glides on like a dream, there’s no need for primer.

Other luxury brands you’ll want to check out are the enchanting Mind Games fragrances - where you’ll find world exclusive scents.
The iconic brand is inspired by the game of chess - and has been created to test your character, skill and intellect.

The aromas are so beautifully distinctive - unlike anything I’ve tried before - they aren’t the most affordable though.
The Prada counter was also among my favourites. It’s amazing how popular the brand has become since it launched in 2023.
Silky eye shadow powders and its viral banana balm are winning new fans every day.

Another first for Selfridges is Birmingham’s first ever Lisa Eldridge counter (she’s in Solihull and Leamington, but this is the first dedicated space in Brum).
The team has some great products and beauty tips that are well worth checking out on a visit. I adore their Kitten lash mascara - a real find to add a touch of glamour to eyes.

Sol de Janeiro is also a new counter and a Birmingham Selfridges first with those sunshine products and legendary Bum Bum cream.
Tom Ford, Gucci, Dior and more are all available on the luxury counters with some incredible products
So many beauty fans will also be delighted to hear that celebrated brand Charlotte Tilbury remains in place at the front of the hall - bigger and better than before with its amazing range of fantastic cosmetics and skincare, including that magic cream that everyone loves.
No beauty hall could be complete without MAC, which is proving as popular as ever.

There are a host of more affordable brands too with Refy situated at the front of the hall with some of the best eye products you don’t want to miss, along with bream blushes and bronzers. Morphe is in store also.
Over at the Beauty Workshop area there are so many more brands to try which haven’t got a full counter, but are packed full of some brilliant cosmetics and skin and hair care goodies from niche and founder-led brands.
It’s a great place to visit on a trip into Birmingham city centre for some Christmas shopping. Other festive highlights in store are the not to be missed food hall, the Disney store and the daily Confetti shows at 6pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends.
You can book makeovers and spa treatments too. For more information go to Selfridges Birmingham
