Odore Restaurant is the newest addition to the high street in Stourbridge, having taken over the former site of Pizza Express after five years of laying empty and dormant.

The new restaurant is a very eye-catching one, easy to find for anyone walking along the high street due to a combination of stone pillars, marble floors and a light and bright feeling in the downstairs area and a much grander spectacle upstairs, with diners able to enjoy high decorated ceilings and chandeliers in what manager Rino Lenia has described as like eating in a cathedral.

Mr Lenia said the restaurant was a family-run business and had come to Stourbridge after taking a liking to the town, but also discovering a lack of proper Italian food.

He said: "They did their due diligence and they found that they really liked Stourbridge and really liked the area and the people, but they also saw that there were no Italian restaurants in the town.

"They said it would be good to have one here and after discussing it, they decided to go ahead and do it and what they want to do is establish a proper Italian experience with freshly made food."
