Ethan Shaw has been reflecting on his most recent award, which saw him win the 13 to 18 category award at the City of Wolverhampton Rotary Club's Young Citizens Awards in October.

The 18-year-old from Bilston received the Roger Timbrell award from Tettenhall Rotarian Roger Timbrell as recognition for his efforts to raise money for the charity Mind as well as his leadership in music and drama at Moseley Park School.

Ethan said he had gone through an interview with the judges, talking about his charity work and community engagement and said the emotions when he won were a happy mix as he reflected on some of the things he had done.

He said: "The judges who interviewed me decided I was good enough and had done enough to win the award, with my emotions at finding out being a mixture of gratitude and joy, but mostly pride at what I've done.
