The gates opened at midday at the open community event organised by Love Black Country and churches from the region.

There are 10 'zones' including a celebration tent featuring performers from home and abroad, youth zone, outdoor adventure sessions, wellbeing, creative worships, street food, prayer stations and mission stands.

Bands include the Together Choir, Room One Project from Walsall and the Together Band. It is the third time the gathering is being held at the park, it having previously held there in 2022 and 2023. A smaller indoor event was held at the Bethel Convention Centre in West Bromwich last summer.

Tim Fellows, from Love Black Country, says the day is for the whole community, not just Christians, and is suitable for all ages.

Tickets cost £8 for adults, £6 for 12s-17s, £5 for children aged three-11, under threes are free, and family tickets cost £25 and are available on the gate or via website loveblackcountryfestival.com.
