BRIT Award-winners Kasabian are to play the NIA in Birmingham this December as part of a 10-day tour.

They will play the NIA on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Tickets, costing £30 plus booking and transaction fees, go on sale at 9am on Friday, September 2, from www.theticketfactory.com or 0844 338 8000.

Winners of Best British Group at the 2010 BRIT Awards, Kasabian are one of the UK's biggest bands. They will be touring to celebrate the release of their highly anticipated album Velociraptor, which is out on September 19.

Guitarist Sergio Pizzorno, singer Tom Meighan, bassist Chris Edwards and drummer Ian Matthews are firm favourites on the festival circuit after three successful albums and hits like Club Foot, Processed Beats and Shoot The Runner.

They have also racked up an impressive number of awards including Best Album for West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum and Best Act In The World Today at the Q Awards; Best Live Band, Best Album and Best Album Artwork at the NME Awards and Song of the Year for Fire at last year's MOBO Awards.

Now the band are back on the live circuit scene and promising to wow fans at the NIA, Birmingham, with their new material that has already been causing a stir online.
