Anthony Collins has promoted four people to legal director: Rhys Baker in commercial litigation and regulatory; Faye Rush in employment and pensions; Rebecca Sembuuze in housing litigation and management; and Becky Tuckley in private client.
After joining the firm as a solicitor in 2018, Rhys Baker has successfully established himself as a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues across the housing, local government and charities sectors, advising on a wide array of contentious and complex commercial property matters. Faye Rush joined Anthony Collins in 2006, with her promotion marking 20 years of exceptional legal expertise, strong leadership and operational oversight. In her new role, Faye will continue to lead on complex employment law matters.

With the firm since 2007, Rebecca Sembuuze has progressed from paralegal, through to legal director, and is a highly experienced and trusted specialist, now helping to lead a 27-strong department. Anthony Collins, which is headquartered in Birmingham, has also promoted seven team members from associate to senior associate. In the commercial litigation team, Rashid Sacranie will continue to lead complex litigation cases, while Sarah Harnett in the employment and pensions team will support the firm's ambition to further grow its local government client base and continue championing innovation and the development of new ways of working. Sarah Tomlinson’s promotion in the governance, funding and corporate team recognises her exceptional reputation as a specialist in charity governance, faith organisations and ecclesiastical law. In the housing litigation and management team, Bethan Jones will continue to provide legal advice and act on behalf of registered providers and local authorities, and Mohamed Karim in the property team will build on his strong reputation for advising faith organisations, charities and third-sector clients.
The Projects team has also seen two promotions, with Tom Corrigan and Priya Kale both becoming senior associates. Amanda Hussey has been promoted from assistant credit controller to credit controller in the finance team. Amanda consistently delivers and this has been noticeable throughout the time she has spent with the firm.
