Lichfield Camera Club unveils new photography display

A new collection of photographs showcasing villages around Lichfield and Burntwood has gone on display at The Auction Café in Lichfield.

The images have been provided by members of Lichfield Camera Club as part of its ongoing partnership with Richard Winterton Auctioneers.
The new display follows an earlier exhibition of eight black and white photographs capturing Lichfield and its surrounding area, which attracted positive comments from visitors to the Market Street café.
The latest collection features scenes from Alrewas, Burntwood, Clifton Campville, Gentleshaw, Whittington and Wychnor.
Managing director Richard Winterton said the previous exhibition had been well received by customers and the business was looking forward to the next phase of the partnership, showcasing more of the area's villages.

Lichfield Camera Club chairman Joe Anderson said: “We are very grateful to Richard Winterton Auctioneers for giving us the opportunity to showcase our members’ work and look forward to providing further updates.”
Copies of the photographs on display will be available to buy.
Lichfield Camera Club meets on Wednesdays at Lichfield Methodist Centre in Backcester Lane. You can find out more on its website.
The Auction Café also offers free valuations of jewellery, watches, gold and silver on Tuesdays, between 9.30am and 3pm, with other specialists available on most Wednesdays from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
