Hockney artwork to go on show at free Himley art festival
An original David Hockney artwork will be displayed alongside work by Midlands artists at the free two-day festival
A rare opportunity to see an original work by world-famous artist David Hockney will be among the highlights of a free art festival in Himley.

The outdoor festival will take place at Himley Hall and Park on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, from 10am to 4pm each day.
Hockney's Artist and Model, a sugar lift etching, will be on display during the weekend.
The event will also showcase work by artists from across the Midlands, including pieces by Dudley-born artist Percy Shakespeare.
Organised by local artists Jacky Fellows and Lindsay Pritchard, the festival will feature live music, artist gazebos and creative activities for families.
Visitors will be able to meet artists and makers and explore their work around the grounds of Himley Hall.

Jacky Fellows said the opportunity to see the Hockney work was expected to attract art lovers from across the region.
She added: "The festival also offers the opportunity to explore artist gazebos, meet the makers and enjoy performances across the grounds surrounded by colour, music and cultural activities.
"This area is full of so much artistic talent and this weekend will explore and celebrate it."
The festival is free to attend and no booking is required.
