'Help us keep fun affordable' says Cannock entertainment venue
A local entertainment venue is reaching out to businesses and the wider community with a powerful message: help us keep fun affordable.
As rising costs continue to impact families across the area, Cannock-based F.A. Entertainment is launching a sponsorship initiative designed to ensure that no one misses out on making memories—regardless of their financial situation.
Situated in the heart of the community, F.A. Entertainment offers a range of activities including mini golf, escape rooms, and soft play, all with a clear mission—to provide accessible, low-cost entertainment for families, young people, and local groups.

But behind the scenes, keeping prices low while maintaining quality experiences is becoming increasingly challenging.
“We see it every day,” said Darren Espley-Atkins, who runs the venue. “Families wanting to spend time together but having to think twice because of the cost. That’s not how it should be. Everyone deserves the chance to get out, have fun, and make memories.”
To tackle this, the business—run as a Community Interest Company (CIC)—is inviting local companies to sponsor different areas of the venue, from mini golf holes to escape room experiences. In return, sponsors gain visibility within the venue while directly contributing to keeping prices low for the public.

“This isn’t just about business sponsorship,” Darren explained. “It’s about community investment. Every pound of sponsorship goes straight back into making activities more affordable, offering free or discounted sessions, and creating opportunities for people who might otherwise miss out.”
The initiative also supports the CIC’s wider mission of providing work experience and inclusive opportunities for young people, including those with Special Educational Needs, helping them build confidence and gain valuable skills in a supportive environment.
“We’re trying to build something bigger than just a place to have fun,” Darren added. “We want to create a space where everyone feels welcome, where cost isn’t a barrier, and where the community plays a part in making that happen.”

Local businesses or individuals interested in sponsoring part of the venue are encouraged to get in touch via the F.A. Entertainment Facebook page.
Because sometimes, it’s not just about a game of mini golf or an escape room—it’s about giving people a chance to smile, connect, and enjoy time together when they need it most.
