Psychotherapist Shoshanna Clay has written and illustrated the book with the aim, she says, of helping “children explore emotions, kindness and wellbeing through playful characters and gentle, evidence-based ideas.”

Her readings have proved very popular in Dudley’s libraries and librarian Jodi Hanson is looking forward to welcoming Shoshanna to Coseley.

“The event is free and part of our half term programme,” said Jodi. “Finding Zip’s Zoom introduces us to Zip the Zebra — a lovable character on a gentle adventure to rediscover their spark.

“With her background in youth work and her expertise in trauma and attachment, Shoshanna’s author talks are fun, engaging and helpful.”

Operating under the Better brand, GLL is the not-for-profit social enterprise that runs Dudley Libraries on behalf of the council.

“We’re running around 250 free events across our Dudley library network during half term,” said Stephanie Rhoden, GLL Partnership Manager.
