Organised by Visiting Angels Cannock, the session is designed to be friendly, informal and accessible to all. It is open to family carers, friends, and anyone in the community who would like to learn more about dementia.

Attendees will gain a better understanding of the condition, pick up practical tips on supporting loved ones, and have the opportunity to meet others in similar situations. Information on local services and support will also be available.

Visiting Angels Cannock provides personalised home care and companionship services, helping people to remain independent in their own homes. The organisation takes a relationship-led approach, carefully matching caregivers to clients, with a strong emphasis on dignity and quality of life—particularly for those living with dementia. For more information go visit visiting-angels.co.uk/cannock.

Free refreshments will be provided. Anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to register in advance by emailing cannockoffice@visiting-angels.co.uk to secure their place.

The event, Understanding Dementia, will take place on Wednesday 15th April 2026 at Aldridge Well-being Centre
