Stourport produced a competitive first-half display, ensuring that the game remained tight throughout the half before Stafford took the lead with a well-worked goal just before half-time. In the second-half Stafford made the most of a physically enhanced performance, adding a further five goals with some clinical finishing, before Stourport, who continued to battle throughout the match, scored late on through the club's top scorer, Adam Leeke, late on.

Stourport enter their final match of the season with a trip to take on Stafford's 2nd XI, needing a positive result to secure survival for the 2nd XI.

The ladies' 1st XI travelled to play Nottingham Trent University, where they played out a 1-1 draw in their Women's Conference Midlands match. Starting well on a turgid pitch hampering creativity, Stourport moved the ball around nicely and put their hosts under pressure early on. After battling hard, Stourport took the lead when Laura Price converted a penalty flick after a foul on Sophie Thompson in the 'D', the visitors' lead lasted until the last quarter when Trent piled on the pressure and equalised from a short corner.

Overall, Stourport put in an outstanding performance and is looking to take on Cambridge University at home this week.
