Earning this accolade for a second consecutive year, Lucy Cole is recognised for her dedication to broadening compassionate support for adults and children dealing with grief, loss and trauma.

Lucy’s journey into grief coaching is profoundly personal. Following the devastating loss of both her parents, difficult divorce and her own battles with addiction, she discovered her calling: to support others in their grief journeys.

"Losing my parents shattered me, but instead of letting trauma define me, I turned my pain into purpose and founded Love Life Coaching & Events to help others heal."

Lucy is pioneering mental health support for 7–11-year-olds with her book and animated series, ‘Faythe & The Fearstone’.

Lucy’s practice was founded in October 2021, followed by a Community Interest Company, which has been funded by the Sutton Coldfield Charitable Trust and BBC Children In Need. It specialises in grief recovery and personal growth, offering a range of resources and personalised support. She has also recently launched her own Training Academy - hoping to train others & expand her team.

“Winning Grief Coach of the Year again is an honour; it affirms the resilience of those I've supported. I’m grateful for the trust shown and remain committed to expanding compassionate grief support for adults and children”. Lucy stated.

In addition to her coaching, Lucy is pioneering mental health support for 7–11-year-olds with her book and animated series, ‘Faythe & The Fearstone’. The project introduces relatable role models and practical coping strategies to help children build confidence and emotional resilience as they face life's challenges.

In 2026 Lucy plans to launch her animated series and accompanying Kickstarter Campaign and is actively seeking ongoing support from businesses, community organisations, and investors. She stresses that with the right partnerships the series could be integrated into the school curriculum, reaching and supporting even more young people who feel overlooked or unheard.
