College offering free Easter activities programme
School pupils in Wolverhampton can sign up for a free activities programme being held at City of Wolverhampton College during the Easter holidays.
The course - at the college's Wellington Road campus, in Bilston - is suitable for children and young people aged 5-16 and runs from Monday, March 30 to Thursday, April 2, 9am to 1pm each day.
The programme includes age-appropriate physical activity sessions - including glow in the dark football, dodgeball and badminton - fun interactive learning sessions and creative tasks to improve confidence and team-working skills.
Participants will also attend sessions on healthy eating and learn about the importance of choosing nutritious foods, a balanced diet, portion control and hydration.

Sessions will be split according to age and all those attending will receive a free healthy packed lunch on each day of the course.
The activities course has been funded through City of Wolverhampton Council's Holiday Activities and Food programme and will be run by qualified staff with experience of working with children in sports and educational settings.
