The money will fund some advertising materials for Mentor Link, to help raise awareness of the great work the charity does to help children and young adults.

Mentor Link provides Volunteer Mentors to children who are struggling with anxiety, grief, depression, emotional school avoidance, reluctant to participate in education and friendships and family relationship issues.

The charity holds a special place in Phil Bach’s heart, who volunteers as a mentor himself, he said: “At Currys, we love being part of the local community and helping everyone enjoy amazing technology, offering a great service with sustainability in mind.

"To be able to help a dedicated children’s charity is a bonus and I hope it helps spread news of the great work they do helping children!”

With over 24 years of providing a dedicated service to children in schools, the charity has a great reputation of supporting children back into their learning and is in partnership with over 80 schools across the Midlands.

Mentor Link is keen to help more children throughout Dudley, Stourbridge and Wolverhampton, by recruiting more Volunteer Mentors.
