Free platform helps West Midlands parents find available nurseries
Parents across the Black Country and Staffordshire are being offered a new way to find nursery places for their children — without the stress of making dozens of phone calls.
BookAllCare, a free online platform built by a West Midlands family, has launched to help parents search for Ofsted-registered nurseries with real-time availability across Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall, Sandwell, South Staffordshire, and Stoke-on-Trent. The platform is already trusted by local NHS Trusts, who signpost their staff to BookAllCare to help them find emergency and everyday childcare.
The service lets parents search by postcode, compare nurseries side-by-side, and check which ones have spaces for their child's age group — covering areas including Halesowen, Stourbridge, Brierley Hill, Sedgley, Bilston, Wednesbury, Tipton, Aldridge, Bloxwich, Willenhall, Darlaston, Tettenhall, Cannock, Stafford, Lichfield, and Penkridge.
Co-founder Zee said the idea came from her own experience as a working mum in the Black Country: "I spent weeks ringing round nurseries only to be told they had no spaces. Other parents I spoke to had the same problem. We thought — why isn't there a simple way to see which nurseries actually have places available right now?"
She added: "When the NHS started using BookAllCare to help their staff find childcare, it confirmed what we already knew — this is something families desperately need. If it's good enough for the people who look after our health, we knew we had to bring it to every parent in the region."
The service is completely free for parents and also supports families looking to access government-funded childcare, including 15 and 30 hours free entitlement and Tax-Free Childcare.
BookAllCare is now live at BookAllCare.com and features Ofsted-registered nurseries across the Black Country, South Staffordshire, and Stoke-on-Trent, with plans to expand further.
