Bloxwich opticians launches Easter fundraiser for young CAMHS patients
A Bloxwich opticians is continuing its support for the local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Unit with a new fundraising initiative to provide Easter treats for young people accessing the service.
Following the positive impact of its Christmas donation, the team at Specsavers Bloxwich has committed to partnering with the nearby CAMHS unit on a longer-term basis. The latest initiative sees the store hosting a raffle to raise funds to purchase Easter eggs for the unit.
Raffle tickets are available in store for £1 each until Wednesday, April 1, with prizes including a brand-new pair of specs, a £50 Specsavers voucher and three prizes of 50% off glasses.
The CAMHS unit, located just minutes from the store, provides vital mental health support for children and young people across the local community, something the team says makes the partnership especially meaningful.

Store director at Specsavers Bloxwich, Sabba Arif said: "After supporting the CAMHS unit at Christmas, we saw first-hand the difference even small gestures can make. The team felt strongly that we wanted to continue working with them beyond the festive period, and Easter felt like a lovely opportunity to do something special for the young people they support. We’re hoping the community will get behind the raffle and help us raise as much as possible."
Specsavers Bloxwich has a strong history of supporting local causes, with the team committed to giving back to organisations making a meaningful difference close to home.
Customers wishing to take part in the raffle can visit the store on Bloxwich High Street before Wednesday, April 1 to grab their tickets.
