Entitled ‘Divination Techniques, Tips and Tricks’, the light-hearted session blends folklore and history with hands-on practice. No mystic experience is required – just curiosity and a sense of fun.

The Professor will also be speaking at Dudley Library on Thursday, April 16 at 7pm. This time the subject is weird, unusual and bizarre Victorian parlour games - from witchcraft inspired challenges to devilish riddles and mummy-themed mayhem.

As Professor Black, author Damian Carter is well-known for his fascinating insights into the past.

“Damian’s talks are always very popular and engaging,” said library manager Sharon Whitehouse. “They are free and refreshments are provided.”
