Staffordshire dance teams celebrate competition success in Liverpool
Young dancers from Rooftop Studios enjoyed an outstanding day of success at the ‘Calling You Out’ Dance Competition in Liverpool, bringing home multiple trophies and medals.
Street dance teams from both the studio’s Stone and Leek branches competed across team, solo and duo categories, with the teams RT Rascals, RT Rebels, RTG and RTK all securing first place in their respective team divisions.
Several individual dancers also achieved top results, with Holly Joy from the Stone studio winning the Under 10 category, while Georgia Campbell from Leek was crowned Under 6 champion.
Further success came from Freya, who took 1st place in the Under 16 Set Solo, and Lillian, who secured 1st place in the Under 16 Freestyle Solo.
Studio director Laura Keeling said: “We’re incredibly proud of all our dancers. Competitions like this are about so much more than trophies – they build confidence, resilience and teamwork. Watching the dancers support each other and celebrate each other’s achievements was really special.”
She also praised Miss Antonia, who prepared the teams for the competition, as well as the studio’s supportive dance families.
“The dedication from our students, teachers and parents is amazing and days like this really show what a fantastic community we have at Rooftop Studios.”
