The offices are among 72 offices nationally to achieve the award this year - a significant increase from 43 offices last year. The achievement highlights a growing commitment across the region to creating positive, supportive and engaging workplaces for employees.

The WorkBuzz 5* Employer Award is based on independent employee feedback on areas such as whether the employee would recommend their place of work. The survey recognises organisations that demonstrate outstanding dedication to supporting, valuing and investing in their people. Achieving this status places the West Midlands offices among the top employers for workplace satisfaction and engagement.

This year’s results are a strong testament to the brilliant work being carried by these local home care companies that are giving care professionals the support they need to carry out their vital work keeping older people safe at home.

Commenting on the awards, Steven Frost, CEO of WorkBuzz, said: “At WorkBuzz, we believe that exceptional employee experience deserves to be recognised and celebrated. Our five-star awards stand out because they are not a branding exercise. The awards are based on data-driven criteria, and the results are powerful because they come straight from the horse’s mouth — the actual employees of each company who enter.

This award recognises the best workplace cultures where employees are proud to work, are motivated to do more, and want to stay for the foreseeable future. It’s a pleasure to partner with organisations that truly care about their employees’ experience and have worked hard to create a culture where their people can thrive.”

Peter Bath, owner of Home Instead Stourbridge, Hagley and Halesown commented: “We are delighted to have achieved this award, it’s so important to us as a business and myself personally that my teams feel valued and supported so that they can provide such important care to those who need it most. I am incredibly proud of the offices across our network who have achieved this award and the amazing work they deliver every day.

“This award underscores the importance of listening to employee feedback and investing in workplace culture — a focus that remains central for us moving forwards.”

The West Midlands offices that achieved the award are: Dudley and Sandwell South, Hinckley, Burbage & Nuneaton, Stourbridge, Hagley and Halesowen.
