Businesses and community invited to support Easter egg appeal

Secret Angels is proud to announce the launch of its 2026 Easter Egg Appeal, once again calling on the generosity of businesses, schools, community groups and residents to help make Easter special for disadvantaged children and vulnerable individuals across Wolverhampton.

Last year, the charity set a target of 300 Easter eggs – and thanks to incredible community support, that target was more than doubled, with an amazing 614 eggs collected. The generosity shown by local people and organisations made a real difference to families experiencing hardship, ensuring children receiving food bank support did not miss out.

With the cost of living still impacting many households, Secret Angels is determined to ensure that no child accessing its services goes without a small Easter treat in 2026. For many families in crisis, Easter eggs are simply not affordable – but with the help of the community, that can change.

Secret Angels is encouraging workplaces, faith groups, schools and local businesses to organise mini-Easter collections. Whether you donate one egg or one hundred, every contribution will help create moments of joy for children who might otherwise feel forgotten.

Nicki Kainth, Secret Angels Volunteer, said: "Last year’s response was truly heartwarming. Surpassing our 300-egg target and reaching 614 showed the power of our community. This year, we’re asking everyone to come together once again and help us make Easter 2026 even bigger and brighter for local families in need."
