International Women's Day is a reminder of the progress made and the work still required to achieve true gender equality. The theme of this year’s International Women’s Day is “Give to Gain”. When individuals, organisations and communities give generously – whether it be time, resources, or support – opportunities for women multiply and their voices are heard, creating a fairer and more inclusive society. Halesowen College remains committed to empowering its students, fostering ambition, and providing a platform for meaningful conversations that inspire change.

Jacquie Carman, Principal of Halesowen College, shared her reflections on the event, saying, "We have come a long way, but there is still much to be done. Advocating for equality – at home, at work, with friends and in every social and professional arena – is vital. Each of us has a role to play in fostering an environment where everyone, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to thrive.”
