The double celebration was marked with a launch party on March 7, bringing together clients, friends, industry peers and local supporters to toast a decade of Fierce Hairdressing and an exciting new chapter for the much‑loved salon.

Founded in 2016, Fierce Hairdressing has grown from strength to strength under Tammy’s leadership, building a reputation for exceptional hairdressing, outstanding customer care and a strong commitment to developing future talent within the industry. The move to larger, more prominent premises reflects the salon’s continued growth and Tammy’s ambition to create an elevated experience for her clients and team.

Speaking about the milestone, she said: “Reaching 10 years in business feels incredibly special, and to be celebrating it with the opening of our new salon makes it even more meaningful. Fierce Hairdressing has always been about passion, people and professionalism, and I’m so proud of what we’ve built together.”

Fierce Hairdressing’s success has also been recognised beyond the salon doors. Tammy was recently named Bridal Stylist of the Year 2025 at the UK Salon Awards and Mentor of the Year at the Express & Star Black Country Apprenticeship Awards 2025, an accolade she described as one of her proudest achievements. The award celebrated her dedication to nurturing young talent, supporting apprentices and championing the next generation of hair professionals.

To make the launch even more memorable, the official opening of the new salon was led by Wolverhampton hairdressing icons Royston Blythe and Nick Malenko, who are also close friends of Tammy’s. Both are highly respected figures within the hair industry, and their involvement reflects the esteem in which Tammy is held by her peers. Tammy began her career at just 14-years-old as a Saturday girl and honed her skills through an apprenticeship at Royston Blythe where she progressed to senior stylist.

Nick Malenko shared his praise for Tammy, saying: “Tammy was our assistant 23 years ago. She has had a successful salon for 10 years and now moved to a bigger space. We are really happy and proud to cut the ribbon.”
