Report issues and request services anytime, anywhere with new council app
Residents of South Staffordshire can now report issues and request council services anytime, anywhere – thanks to a brand-new mobile app.
The free, secure, easy-to-use app - My South Staffs - allows residents to perform a range of tasks using their mobile phone – from reporting issues such as fly-tipping, planning breaches and antisocial behaviour, through to requesting bulky waste collections, subscribing for green bin collections and more.
Leader of South Staffordshire Council, Councillor Kath Perry MBE, said: “The fantastic new addition to South Staffordshire Council’s digital offering is making accessing council services faster, easier, and more convenient than ever before; allowing users to access a wide range of services at a time and location of their choosing.
“This app forms part of the council's ‘digital by choice’ approach, which seeks to make it easier than ever for residents to choose to engage with us and complete transactions digitally – if they so wish – while freeing up capacity for residents to contact us by telephone, if that is their preferred method.”

My South Staffs offers residents the ability to upload images and use what3words – meaning should they be out and about and spot litter or fly-tipping, they can simply snap an image, upload it, and identify the exact location of the issue.
Users can register an account with the app – or use an existing MyLogin account, created via the sstaffs.gov.uk website - to view their personal council tax and benefits information and review existing enquiries and keep track of progress.
The app can also be used to notify the council of housing issues, log noise complaints and more.
The free app is available to download from Google Play for Android or The App Store for iOS – simply search for ‘My South Staffs’.
