Generous fundraising supports breast care services at Stafford hospital

Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters at last year’s Charity Ball, Terrible Titties is proud to announce a £10,000 donation to the Breast Care Unit at Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, supporting services at Stafford County Hospital Breast Care Unit.

The funding has enabled the purchase of two portable scanners — vital pieces of equipment that are already helping to speed up the diagnostic process and treatment pathway for women undergoing investigation and treatment for breast cancer.

For many patients, the waiting period between appointments, results, and treatment decisions can be one of the most anxious and overwhelming times. By improving efficiency and supporting faster clinical assessments, the new scanners are helping to reduce delays and enhance the overall patient experience — not only medically, but emotionally.

“This donation feels incredibly personal to us,” said Rachael Jordan, Co Founder of Terrible Titties. “Many of our members have experienced first-hand the outstanding care, compassion and reassurance provided by the team at Stafford’s Breast Care Unit. Being able to give back to the NHS — and to the very staff who have supported so many women in our community — means the world.”

The £10,000 contribution was made possible entirely through community support, including ticket sales, sponsorship, auction bids and raffle entries at the annual Charity Ball. Every attendee, volunteer, donor and sponsor played a part in making this impact possible.

Terrible Titties continues its mission not only to raise awareness and funds, but to create tangible change for women and families affected by breast cancer across the region.
