Community pub in Walsall reopens following extensive refurbishment
The Old House at Home reopened earlier this month with an exciting new look.
The Old House at Home is now open, boasting an investment of over £299,600, which has transformed the well-loved community pub to feature a host of exciting upgrades.
Introducing its innovative “Two Door Pub” concept, the pub now offers a sports bar area and a separate family lounge, creating two distinct spaces: a lively bar for the locals and a cosy, family-friendly lounge. Designed to cater to all occasions, The OldHouse at Home brings the community together, offering guests the flexibility to enjoy their ideal experience, with no compromises.

The pub is a family-run venue, and retail owners Ben, Harry and Mike had the honour of pulling the first pint to mark its official opening.

The newly updated bar area features large HD screens to keep guests entertained with all the latest sports action, and is designed as a welcoming space for locals to enjoy a pint and a bite to eat. The bar area will now be showing all key sporting fixtures, offering guests an elevated experience while retaining the pub’s warm and friendly atmosphere.

The Old House at Home is a dog-friendly locals' pub with a community feel. Locals can now drop by for a pint and a bite to eat, celebrating unmissable moments in the heart of the community. The pub continues to serve its popular pub favourites, such as The Ultimate Southern Fried Chicken Burger.
General Manager, Beth Bishop, said: “We’re so excited to be back open and show off the fantastic new look. We’ve worked hard to make The Old House at Home a space for everyone - whether you're catching the game with friends, enjoying a family lunch, or just popping in for a pint. The new Sky Sports package, refreshed interiors, and outdoor seating make it a perfect spot year-round.”
