For those who are recently retired, who maybe looking for a little exercise or to socialise more, why not come along and experience playing on the Cannock historic green, which has been used by generations of bowlers, in Cannock since 1753.

The game can be played by all ages men and woman can play as equals.

The club are keen to increase their membership in 2026, of both male and female members.

For the first time in the club’s long history, they would like to establish a Junior Section for people between the ages of 18 and 23.

Due to the configuration of this historic green the club does not play in the local leagues; however, they play many friendly games both home and away throughout the season against local clubs.

The club plays knockout competitions in both single and pair for club trophies, together with a programme of one day competitions and social events

If you are Interested, then come along and meet the club Captain Mal Brittle, President Des Pugh and our Lady Vice-Captain, Colleen Oebel, with other club members, enjoy a ‘roll on the green’ and find out more about the club history and activities.

This is an open invitation which is free of charge; all we ask is you wear flat soled shoes or trainers.
