Community Friends is an informal, welcoming event designed for anyone working or volunteering with local charities, community groups and social enterprises — as well as partners from the NHS, local authority services and wider support organisations.

The event provides a relaxed and friendly space for people to connect, share experiences and explore new collaborations. At a time when partnership working is vital to supporting residents, the event offers an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen professional relationships and discover what’s happening across the borough’s vibrant voluntary and community sector.

A networking opportunity for anyone connected to our local voluntary and community sector.

Attendees can expect open conversation, supportive networking and the chance to build meaningful links. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a new recruit or a dedicated volunteer, the event welcomes anyone passionate about making a positive difference in Walsall.

By bringing together a variety of organisations and services, Community Friends aims to spark fresh thinking, reduce duplication and build a more connected approach to community wellbeing.
