Jacked Racewear, which was founded in 2019, specialises in creating personalised racewear including t-shirts and hoodies for short oval racing, a form of motorsport that has seen a surge in popularity in recent years.

The business sought support to invest in a new embroidery machine which would allow them to improve their quality, efficiency and product range.

The purchase follows a period of strategic growth for Jacked Racewear, which last year saw them invest in a race day trailer and open a track shop at Northampton International Raceway.

“Receiving this grant has made a real difference to our business,” said Amy Shaw, Co-Owner of Jacked Racewear.

“The new embroidery machine has already allowed us to improve our product quality and deliver personalised items more quickly. It’s been a real boost as we continue to grow and reach more customers, both at the track and in the local community.”

The business is on course for continued growth in 2026 with the forthcoming opening of another track shop at Mildenhall Stadium in Suffolk. They also hope to expand on their workwear range to support demand from local businesses throughout Walsall.

Gill Durkin, Walsall Business Support Board Member, said: "We’re proud to support small businesses like Jacked Racewear. Their commitment to high quality standards and continued growth exemplifies the strength and ambition of local small enterprises in our area.”
