Lichfield care home launch ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ event
Stowe Mount care home in Lichfield, operated by Crystal Care Collection, is gearing up to launch a ‘Cuppa with a Copper’ event, taking place at the care home on the first Wednesday of each month.
During the event, local police officers will visit the care home to enjoy a hot drink and open conversation about matters that are important to residents and the wider community.
88-year-old Roy Wilson, the Resident Ambassador at Stowe Mount, said: "I think the event is a very good idea, it gives everyone the chance to find out what is going on in our area."
This event is part of the wider Community Tree initiative across all of Crystal Care Collection, where care homes actively collaborate with local groups, schools, and organisations to ensure residents stay connected to the communities they know and love.

Rebecca Bristow, the General Manager at Stowe Mount, added: "We want residents at Stowe Mount to continue to feel an active part of the local community and retain a voice in local affairs.
"Events like Cuppa with a Copper are vital in breaking down community barriers, so we’re grateful to local officers in Lichfield for helping us make this happen."
All are welcome to join the residents for ‘Cuppa with a Copper’, which take place on the first Wednesday of each month from 10.30am at Stowe Mount, Scotch Orchard, Lichfield, WS13 6DE.
