Time to Talk Day encourages everyone to pause, listen, and talk openly about the things that matter most. To bring this message to life, the children explored a variety of thoughtful, engaging activities. Using puppets, the worry monster, self‑regulation tools, conversation‑starter cards, and their special emotions cube, they learned how to express a wide range of feelings and understand the impact emotions can have on themselves and others.

Nursery Manager Gaynor Carter said: “Time to Talk Day gives our children, and our staff, a chance to slow down, share how they’re feeling, and really listen to one another. When children learn to talk about their emotions from an early age, it strengthens their confidence, their relationships, and their overall wellbeing.

“By showing them that their feelings matter, and that support is always available, we help them build the foundations for happier, healthier futures.”
