The anniversary celebrations took place on Saturday, January 31, bringing together over 300 pupils, alumni, staff, families and supporters for a day of reunion, reflection and thanksgiving. The afternoon saw former and present members of the Emmanuel School community gather at Walsall Independent Evangelical Church to share food, memories and reconnect with one another. The celebrations concluded in the evening with a service of thanksgiving at St Matthew’s Church, where gratitude was expressed for God’s faithfulness over three decades.

The event highlighted the lasting impact Emmanuel School has had on generations of pupils, many of whom returned to celebrate the role the school played in shaping their education, character and Christian faith.

Mr Jonathan Swain, who has served as Head Teacher since the school’s foundation, reflected on the occasion: “The response to the anniversary celebrations and the many messages of support we have received have been truly overwhelming. I would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to make the day possible, and for the care, attention to detail, thoughtfulness and love that went into bringing it all together.”

Founded with a vision to provide high-quality education rooted in Christian values, Emmanuel School continues to serve families in Walsall and beyond, remaining committed to nurturing pupils academically and spiritually.

Over the last 30 years, Emmanuel School has helped students and families from a diverse range of backgrounds and circumstances, including those who have struggled in mainstream education and needed a smaller, more nurturing environment.
