Former Staffordshire student secures Royal Caribbean dance contract
Former Rooftop Studios student Cassidy Kempton-Lindsay has been offered a prestigious professional dance contract with Royal Caribbean International, performing onboard the cruise ship Utopia of the Seas.
Cassidy trained at Rooftop Studios in RAD graded ballet and pointe, alongside performance troupe, acro, tap and singing, before going on to pursue a professional career in dance. Following a successful audition process, she will fly to Miami in early April to begin rehearsals, before setting sail around the Caribbean in May. Her contract will see her performing across a range of Royal Caribbean’s prestigious, Broadway-style shows.
Speaking about the opportunity, Cassidy said: “I’m absolutely over the moon to have secured this contract. It’s the result of years of training, hard work and determination, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me along the way.”

Laura Keeling, Studio Director at Rooftop Studios, added: “Cassidy’s success is a fantastic achievement and a real testament to her dedication and talent. We’re incredibly proud to see her take this next step into a professional performing career.”
