Carvers announce Driver of the Year 2025
Carvers Building Supplies is proud to announce Julian Aleksandrowicz as the winner of the Driver of the Year 2025 award, sponsored by Greenhaus DAF and Treads. Julian secured the title against strong competition across the company’s fleet of drivers, standing out through his exceptional commitment and performance throughout the year.
The award recognises excellence across several key areas including reliability, delivery efficiency, customer service, and punctuality—all of which contributed to the points Julian consistently accumulated over the last 12 months. His dedication to maintaining high standards has made him a standout member of the transport team.
Julian was officially named the winner during a presentation held last Saturday, where colleagues and sponsors gathered to celebrate the achievements of the driving team. Other drivers recognised through the Drive of the Year programme included : Kristian Wharton, who received second place and Pete Brady in third place.
Carvers Transport Manager, Steve Haskett praised Julian’s hard work and professionalism, commenting: “This award is well deserved. Julian has worked incredibly hard on behalf of the business and truly represents the ethos of a great driver – well done!”

As part of the award, Julian was presented with a £1,000 holiday voucher, generously donated by Greenhaus DAF and Treads. In a remarkable gesture of generosity, Julian chose to raffle off the voucher to raise funds for local charity Compton Care, further demonstrating his commitment to supporting the wider community.
Compton Care provides specialist palliative and bereavement support to people with life limiting conditions and their families living in Wolverhampton, the Black Country, South Staffordshire and east Shropshire. The charity provides high quality, accessible care and support, tailored to individual needs, at its purpose-built facilities or in the community, and is there for patients and their loved ones when they need it most.
Carvers extends its sincere thanks to all the awards sponsors: Greenhous DAF, Treads, Hiab, Truck Engineering, E&B Electrical, Geartech, MCL, KLC Chemicals, Larrys, Spillards and Nick Wright Cranes.
