Love is in the air at Dudley Zoo and Castle
Love is in the air at Dudley Zoo and Castle, which is getting set to celebrate its perfect animal pairs over half term.
Between February 14 to 22, visitors can learn about the various animal couples the Castle Hill animal charity cares for on-site and discover how it plays match-maker through international breeding programmes to support wildlife conservation.
Become scientists in the Discovery Centre and find out how breeding programmes work and the genetic science which goes on behind-the-scenes to match animals together.

And there’s the chance to win a special adoption of Keshari and Kirana, the zoo’s newly-paired endangered Asiatic lions, by taking part in a matching trail around the 40-acre site to find some of its iconic couples.
DZC Marketing Manager, Andrea Hales, said: “We’ve got lots planned for all the family this half term as we spread the love and help raise awareness about the conservation of some incredible animals, with hands-on activities and games and a packed programme of daily talks.
“Don’t forget we’re also offering visitors the opportunity to bring a loved one for free over Valentine’s weekend, with tickets needing to be pre-purchased from our website."
