Housebuilder strengthens West Midlands delivery with senior appointment
Lovell has appointed Chantel Cresswell as head of partnerships to support delivery at a time of growing demand for joint venture developments.
Chantel returns to Lovell following her previous role as assistant partnerships manager in 2022. She brings more than a decade of experience across both open market and partnership housing, most recently as senior manager of strategic partners at Homes England.
In her new role, Chantel will be responsible for driving growth across the West Midlands. Her in-depth knowledge of the market and Homes England’s role will support the effective translation of national policy into strong regional delivery, benefitting local communities and providing high-quality housing in high demand areas.

Speaking on her new role, Chantel said: “This feels like the right time to return to the partnerships market, with the new 10-year Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) getting underway and strong demand driving the need for rapid delivery. It’s an exciting time to be back at Lovell and to support the business through this next phase. While Lovell operates nationally, its decentralised philosophy empowers regional teams and fosters strong, focused local relationships, enabling a deep understanding of regional needs and nuances and helping to build long-term, trusted partnerships.”
Across the West Midlands, Chantel will focus on strengthening long-standing partnerships and developing new ones with registered providers, local authorities and housing associations.
Stuart Penn, regional managing director at Lovell, said: “Chantel’s experience gives her a deep understanding of the partnerships sector and how to support delivery on the ground, making her a true asset to the team. There are lots of opportunities ahead, especially with SAHP and devolution in the region, she will play a key role in ensuring partners are fully supported, paving the way for successful regional development.”
