Indian restaurant serves up donation for Lichfield charity

The owners and team from Indian restaurant The Eastern Eye restaurant have served up an amazing £1,500 donation to community fund We Love Lichfield after holding a special evening celebrating its brand new menu.

Eastern Eye owner Abdul Salam welcomed Simon Price, patron of We Love Lichfield and various special guests including Dave Robertson MP. The banquet was enjoyed by all and £1503 was raised for We Love Lichfield.

Abdul Salam said: “I have seen what We Love Lichfield does to support so many organisations across the district and I wanted to help too. I was delighted to welcome so many people to enjoy my new menu and of course raise money for this special cause.”

Simon Price, patron of We Love Lichfield said: “A huge thanks to Abdul and his team for being such great hosts. It was the most delicious food and we raised lots of cash for local good causes – it was a perfect evening.”
