Stafford charity named winner of £500 donation from housebuilder
Hearts & Hands Stafford has received a £500 donation from Taylor Wimpey West Midlands after being selected as the winner of its Community Chest competition.
Initially established to support those facing hardship during the Covid-19 pandemic, Hearts & Hands Stafford has continued to support people in and around Stafford who are struggling in the current financial climate. The charity provides food hampers as well as access to other community services and groups.
Lorraine, Director at Hearts & Hands Stafford, said: “We are delighted to be chosen as the winner of the Community Chest competition in Stafford and we would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation. To be recognised in our community for the hard work and dedication shown by our volunteers is really special to us and we’d like to thank everyone who nominated us.”
