The weekly club will run every Tuesday from 1pm to 2pm at The Salvation Army, Merton Close, Oldbury, B68 8NG. The sessions are completely free and require no booking.

Designed to support early development and reduce isolation for new parents and carers, the baby club will offer sensory play, opportunities to meet other parents navigating the early months of parenthood, and access to experienced staff who can offer guidance on baby development. Babies must be supervised at all times by their parents or carers.

Delivered in partnership with Sandwell Family Hubs and Barnardo’s, the baby club aims to give families access to trusted, local support while creating a safe space where parents and carers can relax, connect and enjoy quality time with their babies.

Deborah Hampton, church leader at The Salvation Army in Oldbury, said: “This Baby Club is about creating a safe, friendly space where parents and carers can feel supported, share experiences and enjoy quality time with their babies. Early connection and community make a real difference for families.”

Due to health and safety requirements, sessions may be limited in capacity, and families are encouraged to arrive promptly.

The Salvation Army in Oldbury is a welcoming hub for all ages, offering children and youth clubs on Fridays during term time, practical employability support, and the Care and Share Charity shop in Warley.
