'Thank you for supporting the Kids Clothes Project – Easter collection now underway!'

Once again, the people of Halesowen have shown incredible generosity and community spirit. Local residents pulled out all the stops to support the Kids Clothes Project, donating an amazing four car loads of clothes and toys to help children and families across the area.

Each year, Councillor Stuart Henley puts out a call for donations, and the response from the community never fails to impress. These vital items are collected and dropped off at a number of local businesses who kindly assist with the project, including Vicarage CaféCoombswood Sports and Social ClubThe Fairfield, and Stuart’s own home.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who contributed during the Christmas period – your kindness makes a real difference.

We’re now looking ahead to the next collection, which will focus on Easter eggs for children supported by the charity. Alongside Easter eggs, we’ll also be accepting new clothes and toys, but the main emphasis will be on making Easter extra special for local families.

Helping kids one egg at a time — and resisting the urge to eat them all.

The same drop-off points will be available for donations:

  • Vicarage Café

  • Coombswood Sports and Social Club

  • The Fairfield

  • 11 Green Lane, Halesowen

If you’d like to get involved, please start collecting Easter eggs and bring them to one of the above locations. Together, we can make Easter a time of joy for every child in our community.
