The charity, which provides essential clothing for children aged 2 to 12 across the community, is organising a skydiving fundraiser to help sustain its growing work supporting families in need. In a show of commitment to the cause, Cllr Henley has bravely signed up to take part.

On June 27, he will be free‑falling thousands of feet from the sky—all in the name of helping local children. With his birthday falling just three days later, on June 30, he is encouraging residents to mark the occasion by donating whatever they can to support the charity’s mission.

Cllr Henley said he is both excited and slightly apprehensive about the challenge, but determined to make a meaningful difference.

“My target is to raise at least £500, and every pound will go directly towards helping families who rely on the Kids Clothes Project. Any donation, no matter how small, will be hugely appreciated and will help turn this jump into something truly worthwhile.”

Donations can be made via the official fundraising page: justgiving.com/page/stuartdropsintohelpkids?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL

The Kids Clothes Project has also confirmed that spaces are still available for anyone else wishing to take part in the skydive. Supporters can either join the jump themselves or sponsor the team as they take on this exhilarating challenge.

Cllr Henley added: “This charity does incredible work for families across our area. If you’ve ever wanted to try a skydive—or simply want to help a brilliant cause—now is the perfect time.”
